Introduction

Capcom is a Japanese game studio created in 1979 under the name I.R.M Corporation in Matsubara Osaka by Kenzo Tsujimoto. It was originally a corporation that developed and distributed game machines.1983 was the year Capcom made an impact in the game market by bringing hardware at a very high standard. In 1981 they changed the name to SAMBI Corporation and in 1983 they established Old CAPCOM and opened a branch opened a branch in Shinjuku Tokyo, this was the year their first game “little league” was created, they also made 2 other games “Fever Chance” and “acty 24”. Soon after this in 1985 Capcom started distribution in the U.S.A .Finally in 1989 Old Capcom merged with SANBI and changed their name to CAPCOM in this year they also established a office in the U.K. In 1994 Capcom entered the film industry with their film street fighter: the movie earning over 1million dollars.
